The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in fielding new technologies counts on our partnerships in industry to not only test our equipment, but prove that it can be used day-to-day by our airline industry. Mr. Shane Davis has continually briefed me on the progress of the installations and it's very evident that American Airlines personnel have gone the "extra mile" needed to safeguard the infrastructure of our country.
